4 years and still empowerin'

Robotics has been a key outlet for community service and outreach.

Achievements

As the Head of Marketing, I coordinated and led the following efforts to help my community:

Girl Scouts Partnership

Coordinated with Girl Scouts troop & local Kiwanis Club to host fun & engaging workshops with the aim of inspiring more girls into STEM fields by teaching them how to build & code robots.

This program has expanded to reach across 7 different schools and 20 Girl Scout troops.

Educational Field Trips

To celebrate the success of our first Girl Scouts workshop, faculty from UC Berkeley (notably Professor Claire Tomlin, director of the Cal EECS department) offered the club a once-in-a-lifetime, exclusive, guided tour of the university's robotics labs.

Truly an inspiring experience that we are very grateful to have received.

Scouting Sponsors

Acquired funds for club by connecting with local businesses like Moraga Hardware & Lumber, as well as large corporations, such as Reliable Robotics. Gained sponsorship, merchandise, mentorship, etc.

Middle School Outreach

Annual JM Middle School Science Fair (2021, 2022, 2023): set up a rink where young students could operate and learn about our robot. Interacted with participating companies, professionals, & future high school students.

Recruitment

Member recruitment drives at Campolindo High School events such as Open House, Club Day, and Mini Club Day. Achieved the highest membership in the history of our club!
